Job Description For Cashier

Some schoolchildren are now taught very basic First Aid. This is a good thing. First Aid should be on everybody"s curriculum. Over the years, I have seen and been amazed at the number of bodyguards" CV/resumes that make no mention of First Aid. When questioned in interview, these candidates mention that yes, they have done First Aid in the Army: "about ten years ago" or "I did a lifesaving course, "a while ago"".


Finding a Job Can Equal Being in the Right Place at the Right Time

In our opinion, the first most important place to be is on LinkedIn with a superb profile and a terrific set of supporting groups. From there, you should involve yourself actively in an informative engaging manner, establishing yourself as a resource in the business folks should depend upon. One of these contacts may prove a great way to reach the human resources professional, hiring manager, or recruiter with the position for you. Additionally, interplay on LinkedIn will lead inevitably to a stream of new contacts as each discussion should solicit folks to reach out to you and become part of your network. Facebook and Twitter are somewhat less effective, but should be part of your network expanding effort behind LinkedIn.

Next, find the most popular blogs and discussion boards in your industry and begin following the posts and communications. After doing this for a few days, narrow to the two or three you find most pertinent to your career interests, most interesting to you, most active, and with the largest audiences. Begin making comments and meaningful contributions to these venues. Become recognized as a thoughtful and engaged resource while building your credibility and value. Include information that makes it clear you are seeking an opportunity.

Don"t overlook industry events. If you are from the industry, you may be able to volunteer to help a company with their booth to get a free pass and perhaps even paid transportation and lodging to cover the visit. If not, this may not be a good time to save your cash. A large industry event with hundreds of industry players on the floor and perhaps thousands visiting could turn out to be the career gold mine of your life. Additionally, at these events the attendees tend to be in an open and available mode to increasing your opportunity to net real results.

Combining these activities can place you in front of the hiring audience dozens of time per day outside of the usual recruiting and networking activities we all pursue when searching for a job.
