If you are sure that you want to become a bar manager then one of the first things you need to do is to get some relevant work experience. You might want to apply for some jobs behind the bar that will help you get used to dealing with customers. Working behind the bar will also give you first hand experience on what it is like to work in this type of environment. You may find that it is not something that you enjoy and this will help you move on to a different job role faster.
